Before drought

turn off all outdoor appliances(e.g. fountain pool, home-made pond) and stop using needed water on uneeded things(e.g. flowers, trees, other plants, foods)
find a nearby water source to get water from and take as much drinkable water as possible
keep emergency water in case you run out
warn as many people as possible in case they don't know
